Where we met: Me and Donnie met in the day room in the barracks at Redstone Arsenal, AL. He claims he saw me the night before, but I don't remember seeing him. Anyway, he walked in and I was sitting on a couch watching TV and I casually said "Hey, when did you get here?" and he said "Didn't I tell you?" and I said "Uh, no" (because I'd never even seen him before) and he said "That's some more of your damn business". Well, after that I took it upon myself to make this miserable human fall in love with me just to prove I could. He was such a jerk, so it gave me something to do. I was basically engaged to a Marine at the time who was stationed in Japan, so I wasn't really in it to win it, I just wanted to prove I could get him to like me. Woops. I guess I went too far.
How long we dated before we got hitched: We dated for about 13 months before we got married.

How long have we been married: 6 years 4 months

What's my favorite feature about him: Hmmm, I guess that he is a lot like me :) But physically I would say.......his bald head, yup, I love his bald head...and his tattoos, and his smile, he has a really big smile.....how could I forget his southern accent? I LOVE that!

What's his nickname for me: Beav.

His favorite color: Tennessee Orange. I'm over it.

His favorite food: Steak. The man could eat a steak every meal every day.

His favorite sport: To watch is college football, to play is basketball.

Who said the L word first: Well, I said "Do you love me yet?" and he said "Cartwright, you know I do". I guess we hadn't moved to a first name basis yet. Actually, he never ever ever calls me Kristi...unless I tell him too. I'm either Cartwright or Beav.

First kiss, when and where: The first night we actually hung out, which was May 19th. I remember that because it's my parents anniversary. We went for a ride with another couple there at Redstone and he said something about me stealing sugars and I was like what the hell is he talking about? It's some southern thing, I don't get it either, but he went in for a kiss and I totally denied him. It was awesome. But we ended up kissing later that night.

Favorite couple thing to do: Shop. Me and Donnie can spend a lot of moola in a short amount of time.

How many kids: 2....3 if you count Thelma

His hidden talent: Cooking. Donnie is a WAY better cook that I am. He makes dinner a lot more than I do and I love it!

His age: 28

His favorite music: Let me look in his favorites in iTunes...because it's an assortment. Shinedown, Stone Temple Pilots, Lil Wayne, Rihanna, Jayme Johnson, Chris Brown, Bret Michaels, Nickelback, Rage Against The Machine, Mariah Carey, Hinder, Nonpoint, R.E.M, White Zombie...the list goes on and on.

What I admire most about him: Donnie is a patriot through and through. He honestly finds it a privilege to risk his life for his country, and he would gladly die for it.

His favorite pastimes: The Outdoor Channel, shooting guns, shopping, and talking on his cell phone.
