Mar is too funny. She loves this song and loves to dance (she gets her hot moves from the Disney Channel). Anyway, this is awesome. She's so confident.

Our Newest Family Member.....Lola :)

Me and the girls went and picked up our new bulldog Lola last night. She is so tiny! She is only 7 weeks old. I was expecting her to be a little bigger, because Thelma was about twice her size when we got her. She's doing really good! She hasn't had an accident in the house yet, but I'm sure it's only a matter of time. Isn't she a babe?

So...I painted the stairs

So I realize this probably doesn't appeal to many people...it's kind of out there, but I was really sick of the gross 10 year old carpet that looked totally stupid next to our new wood floors. To get the stairs redone with the floor would have cost us $2,000 more dollars! This however, cost nothing, because I used left over paint from the kitchen cabinets. Anyway, here it is....tell me what you think.

Easter

Easter was alright, pretty boring this year. I woke up with a migraine and Donnie wasn't here, but we had a good time coloring eggs the night before. The missionaries came over and helped. I think they had as much fun as the kids!

Our Hero :)

Donnie left today about 12:30. He will be gone for "no less than 6 months". I guess that's the Army's way of saying "Uhhh, we don't really know". I'm so proud of my little Donnie :) He's our hero.

Fort Bragg Easter Egg Hunt

Saturday morning was the Easter Egg Hunt for Donnie's battalion on Fort Bragg. We decided to head on over and see how it measured up to Fort Hood's Easter Egg Hunt. It didn't. Where Fort Hood has 50,000 eggs, Fort Bragg had about 50 (seriously). The girls were satisfied with it though, so that's all that counts. I have the best video ever, and it won't load! I'm so mad! It was a moment I knew needed to be caught on film for posterity and everyone that loves a good "what the hell?" moment. As I was watching 2 little kids attack the Easter Bunny and take him to the ground as their parents looked on, an Alvin and the Chipmunks Christmas CD was playing over the loud speaker. It was just too weird. I'm not sure who came up with that one.
