Donnie got a cute little mohawk for his motorcycle..and it seriously gives me the nerd chills, but he seems to think he's pretty hot stuff. Jake has one too, you can imagine what people must be thinking while they're out riding together.

Last night we went to the Salado Christmas Tree Farm and picked out our 8.5 ft Frasier Fir Christmas tree. It was so festive! They had hay rides and hot cocoa and hot apple cider and popcorn. The store was decked out in lights and they had Christmas music playing outside. We took Jeff and the missionaries along with us. Here's some pics of the farm and the finished product.

Thanksgiving 2007

We had such a fun day! A lot of people came over throughout the day to eat, and they pretty much ate it all, so we don't have any leftovers!

We had turkey AND ham because Donnie was paranoid that someone would show up that didn't like turkey!

Turkey Bowl 2007

Our annual Turkey Bowl was held on Saturday. It was a blast. PERFECT day for football. Donnie says his team won...so we'll go with that. I was too busy trying to keep Ry off the field to really keep score.

I'm FINALLY finished with our living room!

We've been here since May, and it took 6 months to get the living room done. My awesome neighbor down the street brought the curtains up this week...and we declared victory. I thought I'd never get it finished!

Now, if I could only get the master bath finished!

Elder GI Joe

It seems like every time we get new missionaries..they want to play dress up in Donnie's Army clothes. Elder Beisinger is leaving Wednesday morning, so this was the last time he got to come over. We'll miss him, but we're SO happy Elder Morrison is staying until after Christmas!

Our Christmas Cards are READY!!!

So, here's the deal....instead of Christmas cards, we did Christmas CD's. Now, who wants a Christmas CD a week before Christmas? Uhhh...nobody. So, Saturday your CD is going in the mail. Like it or die. The cover is cute on the computer, but our printer sucks and it looks gross, so I posted what it's SUPPOSED to look like. Enjoy.

Happy Halloween!

Halloween was so much fun! Marlys finally "got it" and was running like an animal from house to house. The classic moment had to be when someone opened their door and said "Wow, what are you?!" and Marlys said "We're trick or treaters....duh". That's my precious little Mar! Ry was just happy she got a sucker.

Okay so seriously I don't have a life if I'm blogging about my kids new pajamas...but the pictures cute, so I wanted to share. And yes, she's on a table. Table dancing is a very marketable skill here in Killeen, and I want my kids to have every opportunity open to them :)

Ward Halloween Party

Last night was our Ward "Trunk or Treat". Mar went as a ballerina and Ry was a fat little witch. It was fun....but a little cold (which is wierd for Texas).

Our Halloween Treats

I got motivated yesterday and got the treats ready for our trick or treaters. I don't plan on us having TOO many, but I did 25 of these little baggies...and if there's more, we have left over cans of root beer and Play Doh. Anyways, it's got a miniature can of root beer (A&W of course), a bag of candy corn microwave popcorn, and a little can of Play Doh. I think it's pretty fun!

Just a picture of the girls and their pumpkins. I'm so NOT into carving them. I don't know, there's something just a little bit too white trash about rotting pumpkins on your front porch.

1. I hate cooking. I love to bake, every now and then, but cooking, uck, gimme some Taco Bell.
2. The thought of someone coming to my house and seeing anything out of place terrifies me. I even have to have it smelling good...all the time (Butter Rum crumbles)or I'll completely flip out about it.
3. I'm extremely motherly. Donnie's soldiers have noticed it, the missionaries mentioned it....I just like to take care of people. I even do some of Donnie's soldiers laundry so that it smells good, I hate the thought of him using the laundromat.
4. I am TERRIFIED that something is going to happen to one of my kids. I need to go get hypnotized or something to keep the thought from running through my head all day. I don't like to even let the kids play in the yard because I'm so afraid they'll get bit by a snake, or kidnapped, or ran over, or numerous other tragedies.
5. I love Utah, but I would really like to retire in Tennessee. (that is after Donnies mom is looong gone).
6. I love extreme weather...LOVE it. I know it sucks when people drown in hurricanes and floods, or get killed by tornados...but I still love it. I just pray when it rains that it'll be extreme. I would love a tornado.

Well, I don't have anything else to write about. We decorated for Halloween though and it was super exciting for Marlys, and just incase any other 4 year olds read this blog, I better post some pics here.

Our Missionaries

So we invited the missionaries over for dinner one night, and I guess they liked us cause they keep coming back! They called yesterday and threw out the "we don't have a dinner appointment" card, so of course we invited them over. We ordered pizza and breadsticks, and then they DIDN'T watch ESPN...just Donnie, they completely ignored it (riiiight). They've decided to come over for Family Home Evening every Monday, and then again for dinner at least once a week. I think we've become the official hang out...and we like it!

Miss Priss

Rylee FINALLY has enough hair to curl...so today we pulled her bangs back with a cute little clip and curled the back up. She looks so old now! Aggh, it's like I don't have a baby anymore! And no, there won't be anymore, so erase that thought out of your head. Donnie's going to go get
