Deep in the heart (clap clap) of Texas, Tx, United States
I am a veteran and the wife of a soldier. Together we have spent our adult lifetime serving our Nation, it's soldiers and families that support it. We have lived all over the country and experienced more then we ever expected. It is a life I love and one that I hold very close to me, but one that is bittersweet, filled with both joy and sacrifice, friendship and loss...but it is never without hope.
The above picture was taken moments before Donnie's unit left for Iraq in 2004. Marlys was only three months old. To date, that was the hardest day of my life. I stood there and watched them march out the door...making sure that I didn't take my eyes off of him until he was gone. I didn't know if I would ever see him again.

Thelma's costume is awesome and the girls look adorable!
Can I just say that I am REALLY nervous for when Aubrey and Marlys grow up. They are way to cute! And that Ry, what a little fat thing!
FINALLY Halloween pictures! The girls all three of them look so freaking cute! I love it. No wonder our kids are engaged!!
