Janie
I won't be here Sunday, so I'm posting my mother's day tribute today. I have the most wonderful mother in the whole world. Not long after I had Marlys, I got to thinking about how my mom raised me, and how that was the way I wanted to raise my own kids. The only problem, I don't know how my mom did it! Now, we all know I was a total pecker head, I mean, seriously, no need to beat around the bush here. But, all in all, I was a good kid. I never got in to any "real" trouble, and the reason was because whenever I was faced with a decision, I couldn't help but think of how my actions would make my mom feel if she ever found out. THAT is what I don't get. HOW did she get that in to my head? I want my own kids to ponder that question, but I don't remember my mom ever drilling it into us. Anyways, because of my mom...and all her hard work, me and my sisters turned out pretty dang good. Granted, I'm still a pecker head, but I never ended up in the Reaper. :) I Love You Mom!

kristi - i love your mom, too. 2 things i will always remember about your mom are: 1 - making gingerbread houses (funny there is a picture of her making a g'bread tree) . . . i just threw my house away LAST year (SERIOUSLY) and 2 - the trip to Idaho . . . how your mom EVER decided it was a good idea to take 3 12/13 year olds out of state, i'll never know. but i will always love the memories from that trip, including the flowers from the maddox! :)
I love my grammy! I also love your new heading!
