Deep in the heart (clap clap) of Texas, Tx, United States
I am a veteran and the wife of a soldier. Together we have spent our adult lifetime serving our Nation, it's soldiers and families that support it. We have lived all over the country and experienced more then we ever expected. It is a life I love and one that I hold very close to me, but one that is bittersweet, filled with both joy and sacrifice, friendship and loss...but it is never without hope.
I could bite her face off! I can not believe that she is so big. You really need to get out here so that we can all enjoy her and Marlys. WOW, I have tears in my eyes.
The above picture was taken moments before Donnie's unit left for Iraq in 2004. Marlys was only three months old. To date, that was the hardest day of my life. I stood there and watched them march out the door...making sure that I didn't take my eyes off of him until he was gone. I didn't know if I would ever see him again.

I always knew she had some of my brains! I hope one day I can see her...... before she turns 12 would be nice
Oh my goodness she is the cutest little one. I can't believe she has changed so much in 6 weeks. Marshall will be so proud of his future wife.
