The above picture was taken moments before Donnie's unit left for Iraq in 2004. Marlys was only three months old. To date, that was the hardest day of my life. I stood there and watched them march out the door...making sure that I didn't take my eyes off of him until he was gone. I didn't know if I would ever see him again.

You should have not let him near the microphone! He is terrible. Singing has never been his talent, but I'm glad you captured that so we could have a good laugh.
