He made this little recipe up a couple months ago when we had a lot of deer meat and didn't know what to do with it. We don't have any more deer meat, so he made this with steak.
It's super good....WAY good, so you might want to try it for yourself. He gets fresh jalapeno's and cuts them in half. You have to take out all the seeds so they aren't too hot to enjoy.
After you get them all cleaned out you squish cream cheese in the middle of each one and put a strip of meat down the middle. Then you take a full piece of bacon and wrap around it a few times. Secure it with a toothpick and stick them on the grill until the bacon is cooked.

Sounds yummy! I'm glad you got to have Donnie home for the weekend. Send him our way, we need someone here who will cook for us!
Those do look delish! Maybe he could teach Will to cook one day!!LOL
wow - how does it feel to have a husband who can cook? my husband cooks better than me, but only because we go out when it's his turn :)
What a beautiful {and handsome} family you have!
Those look like something Pioneer woman would make--delish!
Thank you for your kind comment on my blog!
What a cute sweater Donnie is wearing, I picked it out. And is that a picture of Thelma STANDING UP?
I'm jealous on so many levels! One a husband that can cook good food, two you got to see your husband in person, three you got to see your husband in person. So great!
Wow, I am impressed! Go Donnie!
