Anniversary and a Couple Birthdays

The 19th was my mom and dad's (are you ready for this) 37th anniversary! Criminy, they are old! My mom was only 17 when she married my dad! They're such babes.Also, on the 17th Kassie's baby Hagen turned 9. He's such a beautiful boy! If you are ever planning a war or just need to know about a random battle that happened in ANY war (especially WWII), Hagen can help you out, he's an expert.

Today is my grandpa Jim's 79th birthday! The man still acts about 21, and doesn't look too shabby either. I took this picture of his hands 2 years ago. I'm pretty sure I'll always remember what they look like, but I took a pic anyways. If you were to ask my grandpa where that bruise came from he'd tell you my grandma hit him.

Our busy BUSY 2 weeks

Donnie has been home for the last 2 weeks. He came home on emergency leave because apparently there was an emergency, but we didn't find it. His mom sent a red cross message because she had had a seizure and the doctor didn't want her to be alone and she wanted Donnie to move her to an apartment because she can't afford her house anymore...the list goes on and on. So we go to Tennessee and she decides she's fine and isn't moving anywhere. So that week was a complete waste of time and resources. We decided to spend his last week here at home. We pretty much just chilled out and did yard work. On Wednesday night his cousins came to visit. They are PCSing here next year so they wanted to see what the area was like. We went to the beach Friday and came home Saturday night. It was great. BUT, Donnie left this morning again....he'll be home sometime around October :(

Dang Birds!

I got my ferns down to water them tonight....and lookie what I found!
So now what??? I feel bad that it's there, but I don't want to let my dang fern die! I'm probably going to hell for that, but criminy....who lays an egg in a hanging plant? We have a ginormous tree in the front yard, would it have been so hard to lay it there????

Dancing with the Mar

Mar is too funny. She loves this song and loves to dance (she gets her hot moves from the Disney Channel). Anyway, this is awesome. She's so confident.
