The above picture was taken moments before Donnie's unit left for Iraq in 2004. Marlys was only three months old. To date, that was the hardest day of my life. I stood there and watched them march out the door...making sure that I didn't take my eyes off of him until he was gone. I didn't know if I would ever see him again.

Wow it looks awesome! Was it carpet before? Ah, I dream of having a house someday!
Right now I am shooting with a Lumix FZ30. It cost about $700 when it came out, but you can find them for much cheaper now. It has a Leica lens, which is AWESOMENESS! I am saving for a Canon 30D. It's a DSLR, and I cannot wait to get it. Hopefully it will be soon. I am supposed to shoot my first wedding in September!!!!
