Deep in the heart (clap clap) of Texas, Tx, United States
I am a veteran and the wife of a soldier. Together we have spent our adult lifetime serving our Nation, it's soldiers and families that support it. We have lived all over the country and experienced more then we ever expected. It is a life I love and one that I hold very close to me, but one that is bittersweet, filled with both joy and sacrifice, friendship and loss...but it is never without hope.
Where are you? You haven't posted in a while. I can't read your blog if you don't post. I was wondering if Donny would kick your butt, if he finds out you called him "pretty".
The above picture was taken moments before Donnie's unit left for Iraq in 2004. Marlys was only three months old. To date, that was the hardest day of my life. I stood there and watched them march out the door...making sure that I didn't take my eyes off of him until he was gone. I didn't know if I would ever see him again.

I can just hear him, "Kristi, what the hell?" That look in his eye.
What a babe. I can see why you miss him. I was going to ask him on a date....Who am I! I love Krusti
Oh, that is so sad! I hope things are going well. I am feeling for you. Shelly
