Deep in the heart (clap clap) of Texas, Tx, United States
I am a veteran and the wife of a soldier. Together we have spent our adult lifetime serving our Nation, it's soldiers and families that support it. We have lived all over the country and experienced more then we ever expected. It is a life I love and one that I hold very close to me, but one that is bittersweet, filled with both joy and sacrifice, friendship and loss...but it is never without hope.
When do you have time to find these things? You are so funny. This was so stinking funny I am still laughing. I love the way this woman talks. ha, ha, ha,
The above picture was taken moments before Donnie's unit left for Iraq in 2004. Marlys was only three months old. To date, that was the hardest day of my life. I stood there and watched them march out the door...making sure that I didn't take my eyes off of him until he was gone. I didn't know if I would ever see him again.

I am going to have nightmares about that video. I guess it's better than my bee attack nightmares.
