SIX years ago today....
Today is me and Donnie's 6th anniversary. As with most of our married life...we are apart. Totally sucks.

The above picture was taken moments before Donnie's unit left for Iraq in 2004. Marlys was only three months old. To date, that was the hardest day of my life. I stood there and watched them march out the door...making sure that I didn't take my eyes off of him until he was gone. I didn't know if I would ever see him again.

what do you mean you are apart??? i thought he got into town last week? i'll be in monroe on wednesday if you're around.
