Okay, so scratch my previous post. We ARE going to North Carolina. And we WILL like it. We don't have a choice. The unit he's been assigned to is set to deploy sometime in late summer, so it looks like we'll be kissing Fort Hood goodbye!

Fort Bragg (insert expletive here)
So, Donnie got orders today to report on April 10th to Fort Bragg. HUH? Fort Bragg is the ghetto...seriously, Elvis is singing in my mind as I type this. He's checking out his options as we speak....and if all else fails, he'll put in a recruiting packet...because Fort Bragg is NOT an option.
Remember The Alamo!
When mom and dad were down here, we got a babysitter and the 4 of us went to
San Antonio to see the Alamo. Me and Donnie had been there about 4 times already,
but had never been inside. After that, we went and had lunch at Saltgrass Steakhouse
on the Riverwalk and then called it a day.

Wild Hogs
Donnie got a cute little mohawk for his motorcycle..and it seriously gives me the nerd chills, but he seems to think he's pretty hot stuff. Jake has one too, you can imagine what people must be thinking while they're out riding together.
